Addis Ababa – Hawassa
Depart Addis Ababa in the morning and drive south through the scenic Ethiopian Rift Valley. Stop at Lake Ziway and other viewpoints along the way. Arrive in Hawassa, enjoy a walk around Lake Hawassa and explore the lakeside area.
Overnight: Hawassa

Hawassa – Arba Minch – Dorze
After breakfast, drive to Arba Minch. Continue to the Dorze Highlands, famous for their traditional bamboo houses, weaving, farming, and unique culture. Visit a Dorze village and experience traditional food, music, and dancing.

Arba Minch – Lake Chamo & Nech Sar National Park
Explore Lake Chamo by boat, with opportunities to see crocodiles, hippos, and many bird species. Later, visit Nech Sar National Park for wildlife and beautiful views over Lakes Chamo and Abaya.

Arba Minch – Turmi
Drive south toward the Omo Valley, passing through changing landscapes and traditional villages. Arrive in Turmi, the heartland of the Hamer people. In the afternoon, visit a Hamer village and experience their traditional way of life.

Turmi – Dassanech – Turmi
Drive to the Dassanech communities near the Omo River. Cross the river by local boat and visit a Dassanech village to learn about their culture, traditions, and pastoral lifestyle. Return to Turmi in the afternoon.

Turmi – Arba Minch
Begin the journey back to Arba Minch. Enjoy the spectacular landscapes of southern Ethiopia and make stops along the way for photography and local cultural experiences.

Arba Minch – Addis Ababa
After breakfast, drive back to Addis Ababa through the beautiful Rift Valley. Arrive in Addis Ababa in the late afternoon/evening, marking the end of your Southern Ethiopia adventure.
